Modernize was really easy to deal with from start to finish. My husband and I both appreciated how clear the communication was, because we always knew what was going on and what the next step would be. They kept things simple, sent the info in a way that made sense, and followed up without being pushy or annoying. Overall, it was a smooth experience and I don’t have any complaints.

I ran into an issue after using Modernize and ended up having to reach out to support a few different times before I felt like anyone was actually paying attention. I kept explaining the same thing over and over, which got frustrating after a while...
To be fair, they did eventually fix the problem and resolve my complaint, so I appreciate that. But the whole process took longer than it should have and involved way too much chasing on my end. Not terrible, just not the smoothest experience.

I still remember sitting there going through lead after lead, hoping the next one would actually be worth calling, but most of them were just junk. It felt frustrating because I’d set aside time and energy for it, and by the end I just felt like I’d wasted both.

I don’t think the service is bad at all, and I can see they were just trying to be helpful. I just would’ve felt more comfortable if the follow-up had been spaced out a little more

I used Modernize to find someone for some window work, i was bracing myself for a hassle. Then the contractor showed up on time, was totally professional, and explained everything in normal-person terms, so my whole attitude changed fast.

He wasn’t pushy at all, which was a relief. He checked out what needed to be done, answered all my questions, and gave me a quote that seemed reasonable enough.

The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because I got a few calls quickly after signing up, which was a little much at first. But overall, it worked out well and I’d use them again.

Maybe that’s just their process, and I’m sure it technically says something somewhere, but it would’ve been nice if they were a bit more obvious about who gets your contact details. The site itself isn’t awful, but the whole thing left me feeling a little uneasy. I’d definitely read everything carefully before handing over your phone number
